Friends of the CDPA is a community of people who support our work and help us continue rescuing, caring for and rehoming cats and dogs across Ireland.

Every week, we receive calls and messages about cats and dogs that need help.

Some have been abandoned. Some have lost their homes. Others simply need a safe place to stay until they can find a new beginning.

As much as we'd love to help every animal, the reality is that we can't always say yes.

CDPA is entirely foster-home based. We don't have kennels, a shelter or a cattery waiting for the next animal to arrive. Every cat and dog that comes into our care relies on a foster home opening its doors and the support needed to provide the care they deserve.

Friends of the CDPA was created for people who want to be part of that journey.

How Your Support Helps

Every cat and dog that comes into our care has different needs, but every one of them deserves the chance to recover, settle into foster care and find a loving home.

  • Emergency veterinary care when needed

  • Support for our foster homes while animals are in our care
