Why We Created Friends of the CDPA

Every week, we receive calls and messages asking if we can help cats and dogs in need.

As much as we'd love to help every animal, the reality is that we can't always say yes.

Unlike many larger rescues, CDPA doesn't have kennels, a shelter or a cattery. Every animal we take into our care relies on a foster home opening its doors and the funds to provide the care they need.

Regular monthly support gives us greater confidence to plan ahead, support our foster homes and be ready when we can help the next animal that needs us.

That's why we created Friends of the CDPA.

Every rescue starts with someone saying "yes."

A fosterer says yes to opening their home.

A volunteer says yes to giving their time.

An adopter says yes to giving an animal a second chance.
